Comment on Paradise Lost
The writer of Paradise Lost is John Milton .He was one of the most famous poets in the 17th century in British history. During this period, the United Kingdom had made significant progress in capitalist development. However, the feudal autocratic monarchy had seriously hindered the development of British capitalism. The contradiction between the two classes had been very serious. And the best way to solve the problem is revolution. Milton is a revolutionary activist, he was willing to contribute his passion to his motherland. He opposed to royal tyranny and was prepared to attack it by writing poets.
Paradise Lost was written in this time. The theme of Paradise Lost was chosen from the foundation of American literary---Bible. The theme of Paradise Lost was chosen from the “Genesis.” And it consisted of twelve books. It is based on the biblical legend of the imaginary progenitors of the human race-Adam and Eve, and involves God and his eternal adversary ,Satan .
The epic told us that: after escaping the prison, Satan wanted to revenge God and he went to the Garden of Eden to allure Adam and Eve. They ate the forbidden fruit due to the temptation of Satan. Therefore, because of their ignorance and depravity, God expelled Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Finally, they leave the paradise and then lost the paradise.
Paradise Lost played an important role in promoting the development of the epic and it was the product of Puritanism, as well as rooted in Milton’s personal beliefs. Although Milton was involved in Puritan movement, his religious ideas and political arguments all promoted he development of capitalism. Milton was a progressive bourgeoisie,
he believed that social progress, as well as the doctrine of God was the rational laws of nature. Therefore, the advanced productive forces will eventually replace the bourgeois which hindered the pace of capitalist development. That was a reflection of historical inevitability. In Paradise Lost, the Satan fought against God that was the civil war between the two classes. Milton expressed his own political position and revolutionary consciousness by Paradise Lost. He made a series of thinking about human nature. This was why he used human degradation to be the creative theme. Therefore, we could say that his epic was based on history. He was a devout Puritan, but his political views were applicable to the materialist outlook on life.
In Paradise Lost, the Satan was the most successful image that he author shaped, especially in the first two volumes. He was an image of a rebel and he was on behalf of the imaginative soul of mankind. The reason why the character Satan could get admiration of many romantic poets and readers was mostly that this image reflected the will of freedom.
First of all, the epic praised Satan’s spirit of resistance. We always think Satan was the devil from hell and human enemies. Because of his ambition and rebellion, he was thrown into the abyss of misery by God. However, in Paradise Lost, the poet described Satan as a brave hero that went against the usual religious beliefs.
The intention of describing this power of Satan was to emphasis his courageous and his spirit of hating tyrants and resisting God. Although the struggle was failed, but he had never doubted that his struggle was a justice action, he had never regretted to fall into hell where he suffered in the flames and he had never been desperate and hopeless.
Second, the epic had also criticized the autocratic rule of God. Whether in the ancient Greek myth, religious traditions or other stories, God had always been regarded as the ruler of the universe and the absolute authority. God was praised as a true and kind image. While in Paradise Lost, God was a typical image of tyranny. The poet condemned God through Satan’s words. Apparently, God had given people the free rights, but in fact, he had suppressed the true freedom.
Obviously, the poet’s condemnation of God were out from the social reality of United Kingdom. The tyrant was the embodiment of Stuart. Milton laid his own political tendencies in the great Satan.
In Paradise Lost, image was rich and metaphor was innovative. This was
mainly reflected in the psychological description of Adam and Eve when they were driven out after eating the forbidden fruit. The story of Adam and Eve in Bible was just a few words and very specific. But in Paradise Lost, the story was written vivid and colorful. In Milton’s imagination and description, the worldly things seemed to have feelings and emotions. Milton had made the most powerful cry for freedom and equality. He tried to tell us that the heaven paradise had lost, but the earth paradise would begin. The poet’s unique writing style created a new poetry generation.
In short, Paradise Lost combined the political, ideological, religious, artistic elements, and achieved the perfect unity of arts. This epic gives use a wonderful art pleasure.

The Lady of the Camellias is a classic book that written by famous author called Alexandre Dumas. The story set in Paris. There are two main characters in this book, Marguerite Gautier and Armand Duval. Marguerite is a pretty and young courtesan, or kept woman.A courtesan can't have the true love. But she falls love with a young man, Armand. She tries to get away from her questionable past and lives with Armand forever. But when Armand's father, Madame Duval knows that his son is falling love with a courtesan, he separates them. After Armand finds that his father lied him, he goes back to Paris, but Marguerite dies painfully and alone.
I really enjoy this when i was reading it. Marguerite taught me a lot. To love someone is just let him or her be happy.Marguerite throws out the lord who can repays her all debts and lives with Armand.But when Armand's father reminds her that she is just a courtesan, she realized she can't be recognized in Armand's family, she will stain Armand's reputation. So she leaves him. Marguerite's love is unselfish. Her self-sacrifice saved Armand's reputation.

After reading The Little Princess， I am deeply impressed by Sara’s way to deal with difficulties. The Little Princess was written by Frances Hodgson Burnett， a famous novelist and dramatist. Sara， the heroine of the novel， was born in a rich family. In order to get a better education， her father took her from India to London so that she could go to the best school. Because Sara was kind-hearted， generous and most of all—rich， she was loved by everyone. All went well until her father died in an accident.
Everything changed pletely. She didn’t understand why the teachers and classmates treated her so badly. Even the principal who used to be fond of her， made her work 16 hours a day. Sara’s miserable life began...
When I finished reading the book， I was shocked by what the unimaginable pain Sara had suffered after her father’s death. She used to be a happy， worriless， and rich Princess， but now she was a lonely and poor servant. She had to work very hard without any rest but only had little food. Besides she had to endure the unfriendly and even rude ways that her classmates treated her. All teachers and students in the school looked down upon her. The most important fact is that Sara had lost the love and care of her parents.
What a mighty pain! If you were Sara， could you stand such pain? Needless to say， an 11 years old girl， even if it were an adult， he might not put up with it. But to my surprise， Sara faced it bravely. Despite of the torture of the principal and all those pressures above， she still was optimistic towards life.
By reading this novel， I felt inspired and think much. When we meet such difficulties， what should we do? Some people always plain that the fate is unfair to them. Some people can’t sustain the hardships and choose to give up. Few of them even try to mit suicide because they lack the courage to overe it. Compared with Sara—an eleven years old girl who can treat the pressure of life with optimistic spirit， these people’s performances are sounded so lamentable. Why can’t they make it?
However， what impress me most are her characteristics and the thought of her “being a real princess.” This “real princess” does not mean luxury palaces， beautiful clothes and the apple of the others’ eyes， but being kind， generous and having good manners. It is unnecessary for “a real princess” to be strong in body， but she must be strong in will. Sara is a real princess in my heart all the time， whether she was rich and wore beautiful clothes in the classroom or she was cold and hungry in the attic， just because she had the good characters and kind heart.
The story went on. Fortunately， a friend of Sara’s father found her and told her that her father left a great sum of money to her. I pray and believe that every good person in the world deserve a good result. So does Sara.

俗话说“打铁还需自身硬”为了进一步提升教师专业素养，深入课堂，认真踏实的学习和实践，一点一滴地积累教学经验，更好的帮助一线教师提升自身素养，更好地提高教育教学质量，更好地提高学生语言学习的交际能力，进一步提升小学英语教育教学的质量奠定基础，本次我们一起学习研读了英语新课标的前五页，我们要改变自己的观念，与时俱进，通过不断的学习来提高自己的教育教学水平，以适应时代发展的需要。下面我想分享一下本次学习的粗浅体会：
首先，义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性的双重性质，让我感触颇深。以前的教学是以老师为主体，学生的学习主要靠老师的讲解，学生只是负责听，很少有活动，课堂气氛沉闷，学生缺乏兴趣，教学效果也不太明显，学生的学习主要靠老师的督促来完成。这样的教学观忽视了对学生学习方法和情感、态度与价值观的有效培养。因此，我们应与时俱进，树立全面发展的教学观，通过英语课程的学习，能让学生感知，体验，理解和运用英语，发展语言能力，了解不同文化的差异，汲取文化精华，客观，理性地看待世界，逐步形成跨文化交流与沟通的意识和能力，树立国际视野，增强家国情怀，养成良好品质，从而形成正确的人生观，世界观和价值观。
英语课程的本质是育人，承载着基干时代要求的有人使命。基于育人本质的英语课程，在培养具有中国情怀、国际视野的跨文化沟通能力的'人的过程中发挥着独特的作用，在培养学生综合语言运用能力的过程中，渗透着情感、态度、价值观的教育，使学生掌握应对全球化时代挑战、进行跨文化交流与合作、满足国家发展和个人发展所需要的语言能力、文化意识、思维品质和学习能力。中国要从人口资源大国走向人力资源强国，成为维护世界和平、构建人类命运其同体、促进国际合作与交流的大国，就需要培养一大批掌握国际通用语的国民。因此，英语课程的本质是育人，其实不光是英语学科，每个学科都承载着育人的任务，归根结底是“培养什么样的人”、“如何培养人”“为谁培养人”的问题。
让我印象比较深刻的落实立德树人，根本任务必须坚持德育为先、能力为重、全面发展的教育理念，制定符合素质教育利时代要求的国家课程方案和学科课程标准，其中的关键环节是研制并确定学生发展核心素养体系以及学科核心素养体系。学科课程标准含课程性质、课程理念、课程目标、课程结构、课程内容、学业质量、考试评价等，连接这些环节的主线就是立德树人和核心素养。英语学科在课程建设中落实立德树人根本任务。必须推动社会主义核心价值观进教材、进课堂、进头脑，着力培养学生高尚的道德情操、扎实的科学人文素健康的身心、良好的审美情趣，努力使学生具有中华文化底蕴，中国特色社会主义共同理想、国际视野、跨文化沟通能力，成为社会主义合格建设者利可靠接班人。我们一线教师在英语课堂上的德育点还是比较多样化的，可以通过语境语篇进行德育渗透，也可以用引导式的提问比如What do you think of Amy/…？引发学生对人物的思考，以及可以通过这种思考内化成自己的东西，影响着某种品质的形成。
总之，英语学习不再是简单地提升学生的综合语言运用能力，还承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务，即学生通过英语课程能够开阔视野，丰富生活经历，形成跨文化意识，增强爱国主义精神，发展创新能力，形成良好的品格和正确的世界观，人生观与价值观。我们任重而道远！

本学期我有幸成为区xxx名师工作室成员，认真阅读了《小学英语高效教学》一书，读完此书，收获颇丰。
作为一名英语教师，我感到了自己之前教学的诸多不足，怎样才能使自己的课堂更加高效？这本书让我感受到教育专著中那份鲜活的理念，捕捉到最前沿的教育信息与动态。
要进行高效教学，课堂教学中必须多信息、高密度、快节奏。所谓多信息，指的是课堂教学要增加学生接触外语语言材料和信息量。在教学过程中，让学生多听些生动、有趣、幽默的对话和短文，让学生在愉悦中潜移默化地获得信息，积累素材，丰富知识，激发兴趣。
随着教材的加深，逐步提高听和阅读外语语言材料的质和量。通过长时间的积累，学生的视野拓宽，信息量加大，听、说、读、写的能力大大提高。高密度是指学生外语实践的量大面宽。教师讲解多，必然减少学生练习、实践的机会。要改变这种局面，就要激励学生积极学习，提高外语实践的密度。教师要充分调动学生学习的积极性，使学生主动积极参与各项外语活动。高密度要求在同一水平的基础上的教学内容并列和反复地进行语言基础知识和能力的训练，并在理解的基础上从听、说、读、写各种不同角度展开，以增加外语实践的量和外语实践的人数。
快节奏指的是学生学习和操练的节奏要交替紧凑。当然所谓的“快”不是指一味的进度快，而是教学节奏明快，练习转换、环节交替紧凑，语速正常，学生操练外语的内容和学生轮换操练的频率要快速、协调。为了节省组织教学的时间，师生之间要达成一种默契，可借助于一些手势语、体态语和暗示来表达教师的要求。这本书主要阐述了以下几方面内容：
一、新课标精要解读：
主要引导老师重点分析新修订后的课程标准对于相关英语学习内容的主要目标要求、实施建议等，想方设法让老师做到“标准在胸”。
二、常见问题梳理：
就一线普通英语教师教学中最常见、具有代表性及倾向性的误 区、问题给予精要提示，以便于改进。
三、高效策略导引：
从理念与实践结合，特别是与大多数普通英语教师教学实践结 合的角度，指导运用实用、高效、便捷的小学英语新课程实施策略。
四、实用案例透析：
选用普通一线教师成功的教学设计、教学案例并评析，使之接 近普通教师教学水平的“最近发展区”，易于揣摩领会，且便于“学”，能够“学”。
五、智慧经验链接：
精选时效性、操作性强，有见地的相关经验、做法或观点，以 期达到拓宽视野、融会贯通的目的。
六、反思讨论实践：
结合小学英语教学的具体实践，每节提供两个相异或相反的观点，并提出直指英语教学实践的两个现实问题，以便引发教师结合实践，梳理自己的观点，反思自己的实践，从而提高自身英语教学水平。
领会了这本书的内容，高效教学是“为了提高教师的工作效益、强化过程评价和目标管理的一种现代教学理念”。所谓“高效”，主要是指通过教师在一段时间的教学之后，学生所获得的具体的进步或发展。也就是说，学生有无进步或发展是教学有没有效益的唯一指标。我认为高效教学中的“效”字不仅局限在课堂中的体现，还应体现在教师的'课前准备工作，教师必须提高自身素质与专业知识水平。如果教师在讲课时不具备这些条件，那么即使教师教得十分辛苦，也不能称之为真正高效的教学。只有这几方面都做到了高效，才能算是真正的高效教学。
一、充分的课前准备工作。
课前准备工作通俗的讲就是指教师的备课：教具的准备，教师的教学设计，教学任务的布置，教学环境的设置，以及学生课前应做好的相应的准备工作。比如在教授服饰的课堂上，就要利用学生的衣服来教学，因此，上课前就要求同学们准备好各种衣服。再如为了突出英语学习的氛围，我们还可以在课后让学生布置英语角，办英语手抄报等，让学生活跃在英语的气息中。教学设计这一环节十分重要，它为一堂有效课做好了充分的准备。
1、首先，教师应当了解学生的应有知识和能力水平，以及心理个性年龄特点，并根据学生已有的这些特点确立适当的教学目标，包括知识目标，能力目标，情感态度价值观目标，确立目标要符合学生实际并且难易适度，不能过高或过低。
2、对教材的把握，对课堂活动的设计。现在小学英语教学普遍存在课时紧班容量大的问题，这就要求我们小学英语教师更要抓住教材要点，并根据自己学生的特点从实际水平出发，灵活安排使用教材，从学生的兴趣、学习风格和学习动机出发，设计课堂环节，既不要太过复杂繁琐又要引起学生兴趣调动其参与的积极性，使他们的语言能力有所提高。
二、要进行高效教学，教师必须提高自身素质与专业知识水平。
高效教学要求英语教师具有精深的专业知识，较强的语言表达能力和交际能力，具有较广博的世界人文地理知识；同时，教师须具有较强的教育教学能力，能够自如地驾驭教材和课堂教学过程，了解新教材特点，恰当地制定教学计划，合理地安排教学内容，有效地组织课堂教学活动。
所以，我们必须不断地学习以更新自己的专业知识，并深入研究教材，研究学生，要多接触名师，学习新的教育教学方法和理念，并付诸实施。在提高自己业务水平的同时，必须加强自身修养，对待学生必须循循善诱，树立“一切为了学生、为了一切学生”的意识，努力创建平等、民主、和谐、教学相长的新型师生关系，实现人的个性的充分自由发展。

the call of the wild in the beginnning, buck lived in a happly life . he was the lovely pet of the miller . he could get sufficient food everyday. however , happy time is always short . unluckily,he was stolen and sold to pay off a gambling debt. buck was taken to alaska and sold to a pair of french canadians who were impressed with his physique. they trained him as a sled dog, and he quickly learned how to survive the cold winter nights and the pack society by observing his teammates. buck was later sold again and passed hands several times, all the while improving his abilities as a sled dog and pack leader. there life was hard ,but he could feel the warmth given to him by thornton . so buck came to love him and grew devoted to him. i was deeply impressed by him . however , at last, thornton was killed by indians . it was a pity . the world is dominated by those who are much stronger and more powerful than common people, and only the stronger ones could exist. this is the law of club and fang. buck gradually realizes the law and begins to obey the law after he is stolen and taken to the would. the savage environment which is full of tricks, dangers and deaths turns him to be more powerful and cunning. finally, he becomes the leader of his team. similar to the would, our society becomes crueler and crueler, and living in the society becomes harder and harder. if you want to exist, to have a good life, you should be tough enough to stand the sufferings; you should keep alert, watch and learn; you should make yourself stronger than others. this is the law of living.

At the end the author doesn't tell us the ending directly. Maybe it's more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over. One of the important characters is the rose. Growing on the planet, she is very beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot. In spite of they love each other, he soon becomes unhappy. On the time of his departure, he just knows she certainly loves him. The character of the little prince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. On the contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, the businessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in the grown-up's world.
The real theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, I guess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but not others “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups.

After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion." I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drowing,My Drawing Number One. It looked like this:
I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them. But they answered:"Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?" My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this: The grown-ups response,this time, was to adviseme to lay aside my drawing of boa constrictors,whether from the inside or the outside and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar. My Feelings after reading Wuthering Heights
Wuthering Heights is a well-written tragedy of love. After reading the whole story, I would like to talk about the main characters of the story—Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff. Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff love each other very much, but they do not have the right attitude towards love, which leads to the tragedy.
In Catherine’s life, she made a very foolish decision---marrying to Edgar. In fact, her love for Edgar can never be compared to that for Heathcliff. She did so, because she thought the wealth of Edgar would be useful to Heathcliff. But in reality, it did not work. She did not have a good understanding of love, which is something pure and saint. If anyone add any purpose into love, love itself lost its meaning. Catherine’s wrong decision hurt two people who love her, and even destroyed the happiness of their offspring.
Heathcliff is a man full of retaliation. He loved Catherine very much, but what he did, on the contrary, added to the misery of Catherine. In my opinion, if he really loved Catherine, he should not walk into Catherine’s life again after his disappearance. Further more, after the death of Catherine, what Heathcliff did brought agony to Catherine’s daughter, as well as his own son.
After reading, I have a better understanding of love. If you love really someone, his or her happiness is the thing that most matters.

After reading this wonderful story, I can feel love, brave, deep friendship and some other good spirits in the people.
The Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to the Emerald City, he thought out of a way to cross the river. The Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave, but when they met the river, he carried other friends to jump across it. And the Tin Man wanted a heart, he said he couldn’t love, but he didn’t want to hurt any animal. In fact, they all have the things they want: the Scarecrow is clever, the Cowardly Lion is brave and the Tin Man is kind-hearted. This book tells us a story of how a little girl Dorothy goes back to her hometown when she is in another strange city. Dorothy is a little girl who lived with her aunt and uncle in Kansas. The weather there is very bad, sometimes there was a cyclone.
When a cyclone came, people stayed under their houses. But one day a cyclone blows Dorothy’s house, with Dorothy and her dog Toto in it, to a country called Oz. In that city there are four witches and a very famous wizard—the Wizard of Oz. And Dorothy’s house just fell on the bad Witch of the East and killed her, so the people there were very happy. Dorothy took the witch’s red shoes and wore them. She wanted to go home to Kansas but she doesn’t know how to get there. So the Witch of North told her to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz to help her. Then Dorothy met the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, but they need help too. The Scarecrow wanted some brains, the Tin Man wanted a heard, and the Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave.
So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too.
So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. But when the balloon is going to raise, Dorothy’s dog Toto jumped away to run after a cat, so Dorothy had to get Toto back and they were left in Oz. Then Dorothy and Toto went and find the Witch of the South and the witch told them they can just use the red shoes on Dorothy’s feet, they’re a pair of magic shoes, they could take anybody go back to their home as soon as she said‘East, west—home is the best!’After Dorothy said goodbye to her friends, she went back to her new home with her dog. It’s really a wonderful risk.
Yes, no matter where we are, home is always the best place for us to rest or study. There are our parents here; there are also our favorite things here. At home, we feel safe, we feel comfortable, and we can relax ourselves. From this story, we can see Dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She killed the two bad witches in Oz; she helped the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard and get what they want. She solved problems when they met difficulties. It’s really not easy for such a little girl. We also learn that teamwork is important for us. When we are in trouble, we can ask our friends for help, and also, when our friends need help, we should go and help them. Just remember, more people, more power. It’s always better has more people to do a thing.
Teamwork is really necessary in our lives. And we can see the Scarecrow is absolutely cleaver, he understands things, he can think, he learn quickly, and he suggested Dorothy to cut down a tree to cross the river. The tin man has a kind heart, he laughs, he cries, he loves, he feels sorry for people. The Cowardly Lion is really brave, he did a lot of brave things, he carried the friends to go across the river, and he wanted to find some food for his friends and so on. We should learn from them too. When we are in trouble, we should calm down, watch the things around carefully, and try to think out of a way to solve it, just like the Scarecrow. We also should be brave as we are in danger, we can’t be afraid, we should face the difficulty and try to go through it, just like the Cowardly Lion.
And we should learn to love people, to feel sorry for people, to make more friends, to get on well with everyone around us, just like the Tin Man. Yes, we should learn how to get on with other people, we should help each other, we should be brave, we should love other people. If we can do like this, we can be a better girl (boy), more and more people will make friends with us, and more and more people will like us!

"Father and son" is a humorous cartoon. I have read the book three times.
When I first read the book, my mother heard the laughter coming from the study room. Indeed, the book is very interesting, and father and son often make jokes. The son called his companion, and showed him half the bald head of his sofa as a sunset, drawing on the sofa, and adding a picture frame.
