　　I'm Lai Senhan from the University of International Business & Economics. Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date. I'm so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all. The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?

　　First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago. At the end of August, 20xx, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends helx x xxewell Party for me. 　　20xx年我毕业于xx大学外语学院师范英语专业，四年的大学学习让我掌握了扎实的语言功底。作为年轻教师，我从不敢懈怠，坚持利用业余时间学习，提高自身业务水平。通过一年的教学工作，我的教学业务水平得到了很大的提升。今天，我竞聘的是二年级英语教师，之所以竞聘这个岗位，基于以下三点原因：

　　这一届学生从入学开始就担任一二班的英语教学工作。在一年的教学实践中，我揣摩着，尝试着，与他们真诚沟通交流着，已经非常熟悉每个学生的性格特点和学习现状，这为教学工作的进一步开展，奠定了坚实的基础。

　　我深知英语学科在学校基本学科教学中的地位和作用，明确英语教师的职小学班主任竞聘责和任务，也明白英语教师所应必备的素质和要求，所以，自工作以来，我始终不忘学习，勤钻研，善思考，多研究，不断丰富提高自己。

　　三、我有较好的年龄优势

　　我正当青春年华，精力旺盛，敬业精神高，能够全身心地投入到自己热爱的教学工作中去。这一点也深受学生喜爱。

　　为了赶上课改的步伐，我利用课余时间学习了《英语课程标准》，深入了解它的基本理念。其中强调教学要面向全体学生，注重素质教育，特别强调要关注每个学生的情感，激发他们的兴趣，帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心。所以在教学中，我始终以学生为中心，发挥他们的主体作用，采用以学生为中心的教学思路，充分考虑学生的现有基础，兴趣爱好，学习风格等差异。让学生体验和积极参与，建构知识，形成积极的.态度，促进语言实际运用能力的提高。

　　以上所述情况，是我竞聘英语教师的优势条件，假如我有幸竞聘上岗，这些优势条件将有助于我更好的开展英语教学工作。

　　如果我有幸竞聘成功，能担任三四年级英语教师的话，我将从以下方面开展工作：

　　一是认真贯彻执行党的教育路线、方针、政策和学校的各项决定，加强学习，积极进取，求真务实，开拓创新，不断提高自己的综合素质、创新能力，用自己的勤奋加智慧，完成好教学任务。使我校的英语教学上一个大的台阶。

　　通过一个多学期的观察，我发觉有些孩子在英语课堂上学得很好，老师教的一般都会读，但第二天的反馈却比较差。一年级学生的学习能力、接受新知识的能力比较强，但遗忘能力也十分强，如果当天晚上不进行复习的话，第二天往往会把前一天学习的内容忘记。所以为了让您的孩子英语学习有连续性，在课外，我希望家长能够多关心孩子的英语学习状况，并提以下几点建议：

　　1．帮助孩子养成听英语习惯。

　　⑴每天安排一个固定的时间（10分钟左右）督促孩子听英语。如每天固定在晚上7：00听英语，则每天一到这个时间就帮助孩子准备好，让孩子养成习惯。听英语时，能听一句跟着说一句，并对比自己的发音，尽量模仿，自己纠正。

　　⑵帮助孩子完成听说英语作业。因为我们是从口语开始训练，所以一年级的英语作业大多是听和说。让孩子看着英语单词卡片说一说，或边做动作边说等等。并建议家长让孩子看着英语书第一页的英语汇总表让孩子读一读上面的句子和单词。

　　2．帮助孩子养成用英语的习惯。

　　我们的英语教学不从a b c字母开始，而从英语口语开始，一方面是遵从学习规律；另一方面是为了孩子应用的需要。我希望您能多问问

　　孩子“今天英语学到了什么”，孩子学到的.儿歌，歌曲等可以鼓励他表演给别人看。有条件的还可以用学到的与孩子对话。总之，鼓励孩子把学到的在家里用起来。

　　3. 帮孩子搜集一些少儿英文歌曲，在家里多让孩子听一听。
